Westport means the world to Judy

Judy has fundraised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities for over a decade. In 2023, Judy was awarded Westport Volunteer EMS’ inaugural Community Partner Award for many years of support.

Judy’s fundraising events are an enormous success for the community, often highlighting new restaurant businesses, new members of the community, while also focusing on a fundraising goal.

Having supported Westport EMS, Food Rescue, & Experience Camps, Judy cherishes Westport and the surrounding local organizations that do so much for our community.

Dandelion Event 2025
Judy Michaelis hosted a successful friends and family fundraising event at the new Dandelion restaurant in Westport. Attended by over 250 guests, the gathering raised an incredible $22,000 to benefit the Westport Volunteer EMTs, exceeding all expectations.

Sushi Jin - EMS Fundraiser
🎉 THANK YOU WESTPORT! 🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who made our Sushi Jin event at 44 Main St, Westport such a success! Your incredible generosity will go a long way in funding the essential, volunteer-run emergency services provided by Westport Volunteer EMS (@WVEMS1979), helping to keep our community safe.
The event was truly a night to remember. It was amazing to see the Westport community come together for this important cause, showing once again that we stand united in support of our first responders.

BAND-AID: Supporting Westport EMS​
Judy hosted BAND-AID, a live music event at Cedar Point Yacht Club to support Westport Volunteer EMS. The event featured an incredible lineup with Teacup Sallie, Vintage Band, and DJ Mo, along with food from Big Green Truck Pizza. The night was filled with music, dancing, and community spirit, bringing everyone together in support of this vital, volunteer-run organization.
A special thank you to our event sponsors Karen Kleine and Grapevine Wine, and to Cedar Point Yacht Club for hosting us and being such a great partner to work with. And of course, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us—your support made the evening truly special.

Tacombi 2023 EMS Fundraiser
Judy Michaelis hosted a pre-opening event for a new Tacombi restaurant in Westport, CT, that benefited the Westport Volunteer EMS (WVEMS). The event included food, drinks, and live music to support the community.
